RENNSPORT’s highest level of competition enters its second season of the year—the R1 Fall Season.
After a successful spring season, lots of racing action and many new competitors engraving their name in R1 history, it’s time to follow it up!
Here’s everything you need to know about the R1 Fall Season:
The R1 Season consists of 3 stages: Qualifiers, Main Season and R1 Finals.
Qualifier Hotlaps: August 10th to August 16th
Qualifier Shootouts: August 21st, 22nd & 23rd
Main Season: September 1st to September 29th
R1 Finals: October 18th
10.000€ Prize Pool
The total prize pool remains at 10.000€ split across 12 Teams.
Qualifiers: Your way into R1
To enter, drivers must sign up using the registration form and set a lap on one of the official R1 Time Trial servers between August 10th and August 16th.

- 6 professional teams are already confirmed.
- The “RENNSPORT Grandmasters” consists of the 2 best performing privateer drivers from the previous season.
- 10 privateer drivers from the community can qualify into 5 community teams.
Qualifier Rounds
24 community drivers will advance to the three R1 Qualifier rounds, based on their RENNSPORT Rating or the lap time set in the Time Trials.
8 Drivers can qualify for the shootout races through their RENNSPORT Rating.
16 Drivers will qualify through the lap times set in the Hotlap Competition.
Qualifier rounds are separated into two splits of 12 drivers.
Qualifier Dates:
Qualifier Round 01 — August 21st, 2026
Qualifier Round 02 — August 22nd, 2026
Qualifier Round 03 — August 23rd, 2026
Drivers can compete in all races, however, only the two best race results will count toward an overall points score.
At the end of the qualifiers, the 10 highest-scoring privateers will be grouped into five teams of two drivers. Further drivers are eligible as reserve drivers for the R1 Season.
Main Season
The main season consists of four online rounds held over five weeks.
Each round features four races, with teams split into two groups and each team racing twice. Groups are reshuffled after each round so teams face a new set of opponents at the next race day.
Race Dates:
Main Season Round 01 — September 1st
Main Season Round 02 — September 8th
Main Season Round 03 — September 15th
Main Season Round 04 — September 29th
Tracks for each round are voted on by the community, who can choose up to four of six options.
Drivers earn points toward the team championship with 4 drop results per team, and the 6 highest-scoring teams at the end of the main season progress to the next stage.
R1 Finals: Live at SimRacing Expo ‘26
In the R1-Finals, the 6 highest-scoring teams compete for the R1 title in an offline event at the Simracing Expo in Frankfurt!
Finalist Mode
The top ranked team from the main season starts the Finalist Mode races on 100 points. The other 5 teams begin with points proportional to their percentage of the Main Season winner’s points.
Once a team reaches 160 points, they enter ‘Finalist Mode,’ where a single race win is enough to claim overall victory. If no team wins in Finalist Mode, the highest-scoring team after eight races is crowned R1 Champion.
