RADIO CHECK #07 + PATCH PREVIEW 1.1.7

Hello there,

Kim here.

It’s been a long time since I made an update here, but while we still have kinks to iron out, features to improve, and content to add, I wanted to take this moment to look back at the last couple of weeks and give a brief outlook on the future.

Most of this information is also condensed in a special version of our RENNSPORT Radio Check that was just released, so if you prefer to watch instead of reading, you can do that here:

Since launch on November 13, we’ve been in focus mode to fix as many reported issues as possible. This has resulted in three patches so far (with the fourth coming tomorrow), and we’ve managed to make rapid improvements across the board. We’re not done, but as we enter the holiday season, things will have to slow down a bit before we’re back in full force in January.

These patches have been crucial to our continued development, enabling us to work more closely with hardware SDKs and further refine the RENNSPORT experience. For a detailed look at what we’ve done so far, you can catch up on the patch notes:

Patch Notes 1.1.5

Patch Notes 1.1.6

The fourth patch (1.1.7) is scheduled to be released on December 11th. Here are some of the things that will be included:

  • Added a Rejoin button to Official Contests
  • Updated the tire model for the Praga R1
  • Slight AI improvements

Stay tuned for the full patch notes that drops tomorrow.

POST RELEASE CONTENT

We previously said that our first post-release content would be available in December 2025, and while we’re in the polishing phase of that content, we’ve made the decision to push this launch back to February next year.

We’ve done this for two reasons: first, giving ourselves more time allowed the team to focus on the previously mentioned patches, increasing the overall quality of the game. And second, a February release gives us the chance to deliver something better.

We’re planning to add significant core changes to the experience with this release, addressing some of the areas that have been criticised, such as AI drivers and the simple Championship system, while also ensuring that we add new content to the base game for all players.

We will dive deeper into our philosophies before February, and the exact release date for Endurance Classics: Part 1 will be shared in January. Also, early next year, we will share our short- and long-term goals for 2026, as well as how we want to define what RENNSPORT is moving forward.

Thank you for your continued support, see you on the track!

Kim
